For the many folks who have had issues with the IM414 not having an adapter for your 80gb Zune, I contacted Altec Lansing directly yesterday and was told that they do in fact now have this adapter and will ship it to you free of charge. I contacted the company at alteclansing@custhelp.com and they were very quick to reply with a solution. Knowing this, I've now decided to purchase the item because the reviews of the sound are great, and this adapter will resolve the only negative aspect I've seen about this product. Hope this helps you folks!

Really knocked out by the sound! This product is great. Called the company to get the converter (plastic piece) so the zune fits in more snugly, otherwise it is a loose connection! Really like the speakers - I ordered two! One for my daughter!

This is the second Altec Lansing that I have purchased this year, the first one was for me, and this last one is for my daughter who just can't get enough from her Zune.
I love the ease of use and great sound that comes from it,also the fact that I can take it from one place to another using the AC or batteries.
The remote is also great to have.
Thanks for a great product at a great price.

These speakers sound beautifully! I had no problem docking my Zune 8GB. I slipped it right on the dock and it fit snugly.
The remote control responds well. I like that you can add more bass and change the surround effect from the remote. The remote controls the volume, goes forward or back, controls the power button, changes the source (FM radio, Zune, or audio AUX), changes the bass, and surround effect. I'm puzzeled about what the P1, P2, and P3 on the remote are for (it doesn't mention it in the user guide).
I really like this set because it is easy to use and start up. It is also easy to move around my house or take along anywhere. I wish it had a little handle (there's actually a space where they could have put one). Oh well, for me that's not a deal killer.
I especially like the fact that it can run on 3 little AA batteries for up to 24 hours. For the kind of sound I'm getting from these speakers that is truly amazing!
The sound these speakers produce is rich and fills the room. For the price, it is well worth it. It doesn't fill the room for a party where the noise level would be high, but it sure fills it with just everyday use around my house, in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.
I recommend these compact, nifty, sturdy speakers. They have a nice sound.

Bought this for my Zune 80 and I like it a lot. Good sound for the price and easy to setup and use. I emailed Altech Lansing for the adapter and it showed up 3 days later. No charge. No fuss. Kudos to Altech Lansing. That is the way to do business.
