Look here for the specifications February 28, 2010 Ron Cronovich (Kenosha, WI) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Like most folks here, I am very happy with this charger, happy that it costs half as much as an apple-branded ipod charger yet has two USB jacks instead of one.
Some folks here have found this charger doesn't put out enough power for particular devices. Before purchasing this charger, it's a good idea to compare the power requirements for your device with the power this charger puts out.
The charger puts out 5.2 volts, and 500mA per USB port.
The charger also includes over-voltage protection and short circuit protection.

I was hesitant to buy any adapter for iPod other than the one sold by Apple because I thought it may damage my player. But after reading the reviews I decided to buy this and well I am happy with my purchase and saved 50% over the original Apple adapter. I have a Classic 6G and a Nano 5G. And they charge just fine with no worries. I would recommend this to everyone. Plus it has 110-240V voltage range so it can be used outside of US when you are travelling.
Works for ipod nano 5G and ipod touch 3G February 25, 2010 JLower 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This bare bones version requires your own sync cord to charge, do not expect it to include anything but the block.
Also charges Sony MP3 but does not charge Sony PRS505.
Works For Pretty Much Everything February 28, 2010 J (Rochester, NY) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Here's a list of devices I've successfully charged using the Griffin PowerBlock:
-iPod Touch 3G
-iPod Nanon 1G
-HTC Fuze
-Logitech Performance Mouse MX
-Sony Reader Touch
-Kensington Mini Battery Extender and Charger
-Garmin Nuvi 760
It actually charges both devices at the same time so what more could you want? Great product!

There's really not much to say about this product. It looks great, works as it should, and is a cheaper alternative to the Apple USB Charger. Though I ever only need to charge one iPod at a time, it's a nice bonus to have the dual ports. Recommended, for sure!
