No more ear buds! September 6, 2008 D. Romero (Northern Calif.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am 58 years old, so still attempting to be tech savy. Love my ipod shuffle, but hate the ear buds (old ears). The Tunecast makes it possible to enjoy my tunes on any FM receiver both in the car and at home. Great quality on my old FM tuner/amp. I live in a small town outside of a major urban area and have no problem finding a clear spot on the FM dial.
works great long battery life July 6, 2009 DMH (Ambler, PA USA) I've had a Belkin TuneCast II, the other model universal FM transmitter. But, this one works much better. The battery life seems to be at least 3 times longer. Also, most importantly, this model does not shut off after a few seconds. It stays on about 10 minutes. Now, if there is a short passage of a song or a semi-long gap between songs, I do not have to listen to static until (with the other model) the music kicks in again.
Great Product July 24, 2007 John Bogan 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although it was hard at first to find a good channel or station to play on, it's a great product. It pays good and clear thru my radio. Before I got this transmitter I had the XtremeMac AirPlay FM Transmitter for iPod Shuffle. It dosen't has nothing on this product. The only down side is that I have to keep my iPod charged.
FM transmitter September 1, 2007 Jaime Gonzalez (Germantown, MD) Works well, have to retune the frequencies often as I commute. Wish it had a little more output power to compensate for some of the radio stations. All in all not bad.Belkin F8M010 Tunecast III FM Transmitter - Universal
Works pretty well for me April 8, 2008 D. Sabol I read alot of negative reviews on this item when I was looking for a transmitter. This is my first, maybe there is something better out there, who knows. I ended up with this one because I found it in a local store, couldn't remember if this one had good reviews or bad, so I bought it. I actually think it works pretty well for me. I live in Johnstown, PA and I have it set on 91.1 all the time. There was one other station I found, that I thought I could use, but 91.1 has done the trick, even when I travel to neighboring towns. The only thing I noticed about mine is that I have to keep it on the left side of my steering wheel, to keep it far enough away from the radio that it doesn't cause static. I have a little cubby on that side, so that's where I keep it, and it works great.
